Thirty-six days have flown by as if mounted on the Polar Express. How is anyone able to catch her breath, much less catch a bit of the Christmas Spirit? In retrospect, I can see many Christmas-keeping days, so again I will draw bulls eyes around the already shot arrows just to keep this experiment going to some degree.
I’ve been to lunch with friends, to breakfast with friends, and to a nephew’s wedding in the beautiful Manti Temple. One of our daughters has come to visit from her home in Beijing along with her husband and four children. That has made for many Christmas experiences, since our other family members come over to be with them.
We hosted a bridal shower at our home and a Young Single Adult Family Home Evening. Gatherings are a good way to keep Christmas.
Most importantly, we had a very successful family reunion at the cabin and everyone got along. Whew! That was keeping Christmas indeed and in deed!
